Get Rid of the Red

Get Rid of the Red

When you wear a bra that doesn't fit, you can feel it. If you find at the end of the day you have red lines on your ribcage where the underwire or elastic dug in and irritated your skin, your bra isn't the right size. They don't just look bad, either. You probably experience a stinging sensation as you peel your bra off and then itching. Oh, the itching! But you can't scratch right away because you can do some damage to your skin. Don't scratch that itch until your skin cools off and isn't moist from perspiring anymore. A good way to reduce the itch and redness is to take a cool, wet washcloth and hold it on the area beneath your breasts where the red marks and irritation are most severe. Then you need to know how to find your correct bra size so you can quit dealing with the pain of wearing a bra that is not the right fit.

Learning how to measure bra sizes is one of the kindest things you can do for your body. When you wear a bra that is the right size for you, the difference will be noticeable. You won't have those angry red marks on your ribcage, across your back, and on your shoulders. You will notice your shirts will look and fit better when you know how to size a bra, because you won't have the lumps and bumps a too-tight bra creates. A smoother bra fit under your shirt will have you looking great on the outside and feeling good on the inside.
