Think Bikini Panties Are Only for Teens?

You've seen the commercials with teens romping around in their itty-bitty bikini panties and you have to wonder if every underwear company out there has lost their minds. Sure, skinny models look great wearing bikini underwear, but what about the rest of us?

There is good news! Just because you aren't a skinny teen it doesn't mean you have to give up your love affair with adorable underwear. Here are a few ways to determine if bikini panties are the right choice for you.

  • Do you have a tummy pooch? One way to deal with the tummy pooch (that extra tummy that folds over a little) is to wear big, full-coverage panties. That's not the only solution. If you wear bikini underwear, the band will come right under that little extra tummy and stop the chafing that happens there.
  • Sick of panties that bunch? Bikini panties can seem scary because they have less fabric. That doesn't mean that when you walk out of the house in a pair everyone will know what you're wearing. You run almost a zero percent chance of having a wardrobe malfunction caused by wearing bikini panties. If you're wearing big panties however you do run the risk of experiencing bunching caused by excess fabric. And we both know that that isn't comfortable or sexy at all.
  • 50 is the new 30. Just because you aren't asked for your ID when you go into a bar, it doesn't mean you have to stop having fun. Even if your day is filled with errands, you can still have a great time. Pretty underwear can make you feel like a million bucks, even if you're just waiting in line at the post office. It will be your sexy little secret.
